Swan Hill Region Attractions
Swan Hill is located in the heart of the Murray region on a free-flowing section of Australia’s famous Murray River and is well known for its easy-going lifestyle and year-round sunshine. Swan Hill’s main attractions include Murray Downs Golf and Country Club, the historic Pioneer Settlement and the renowned Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery.
A short drive is the lakeside town of Lake Boga with the key attraction being the Flying Boat Museum, exhibiting Lake Boga’s involvement in the War as a Catalina base.
The Olson Pheasant Farm, the largest game bird farm in Australia, is located on the Chillingollah Road ten minutes out of Swan Hill. It is open to visitors, who are able to purchase produce from the farm shop. Farm shops also operate at Sonré Farms (olive oil and pistachios) and Andrew Peace (Winery).
